Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Chad N. Stasik, MD, Carlos Restrepo, MD

Abstract

The use of cardiovascular computed tomography (CCT) and cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) has grown rapidly over the past 2 decades. As the technologies have improved, their applications have broadened to the point that CCT and/or CMR are now used with other noninvasive and invasive imaging modalities to aid with diagnosis and treatment across the entire range of pediatric and adult cardiovascular disease.
